The famous D’Angelo once said “I’m always writing and learning. It’s about growth. So I’m growing as a Wax Specialist.” My name is Venesia Reid. A mother, a friend and a person of hard work and dedication. I’ve always dreamt to be the person I am today, to make others feel beautiful and confident. I have been working in the industry for 10 years and over the years I’ve grown to have more passion for what I do. My parents wanted me to commit to Law Studies but the more I tried the more I kept going back to the beauty industry.

I consider myself to be great at a lot of things but waxing is definitely my calling and that’s why my brand focuses on the standards of Male & Female Waxing rather than just removing hairs. I worked with a lot of talents in the industry but due to family demands and realising my worth I wanted to start working on my own and I started ‘Waxcited’. I offer status and luxury to all my clients regardless of who they are and their background. I treat everyone the same but target everyone’s individual concerns.

I have a lot of respect for my new and existing clients and I take pride in my services. I offer not just a treatment with great products but a lifestyle of a luxurious intimate experience and comfort that you don’t get in a regular high street salon.

I want to thank everyone who have been supporting my journey and who continues to walk the path with me. The day to day encouragements from my clients continues to remind me that failure isn’t an option. I am looking forward to start training others to normalise that this can be done in a very relaxing and effective way. I have lots of plans for the business and can’t wait for everyone come experience and Get Waxcited!
